Primary
Your application must be postmarked by the 5th day before a primary (or received by your Registrar of Voters or a voter registration agency by the 5th day before a primary). You may apply in person to your town clerk or registrar until noon on the last business day before a primary.
General Election
Your application must be postmarked by the 7th day before an election (or received by your Registrar of Voters or a voter registration agency by the 7th day before an election).
Same-Day or Election Day Registration applies only to the November General Election. Unregistered voters, who are U.S. citizens, 18 years of age or older, and provide proof of identity and proof of bonafide residence in Granby, may register to vote at the Registrar's office in Town Hall on Election day. If their registration is completed before 8 pm, they may vote at Town Hall. Please note that Election day registration only applies to elections, not referendums, party primaries, or any other voting events.
Referendum
Your application must be received by the Registrar of Voters, or applied in person to the Town Clerk or Registrar of Voters, by noon on the last business day before a referendum. (If you are not a registered voter in Granby, you may still be eligible to vote in a Referendum if: you are a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years of age, and pay taxes to the town on property assessed at $1000 or more which appeared on the last completed Grand List.)
