Attention Granby Veterans!
The Town Clerk’s Office wants to remind you of an important upcoming deadline:
If you have not yet filed your DD-214 Military Discharge Form, please stop by the Town Clerk’s Office before September 30, 2025. Filing ensures you can receive the Veteran’s Exemption discount on the assessed value of your real or personal property for the Town of Granby's October 1 Grand List.
Accepted DD-214 submissions:
- Original ink-signed DD-214
- Digitally e-signed DD-214 or Certified raised seal copy from a VA certifying authority
- Certified copy of a DD-214 filed in a prior town of residence
Please note: Photocopies cannot be accepted per State Statutes — no exceptions.
To qualify, veterans must:
- Have been Honorably Discharged (as indicated on the DD-214)
- Have served during a time of war
