About
The Palace Project is a free App designed to put digital resources from your home library (Granby Public Library), your State Library (eGO), and titles that can be found for free on the Internet all in one place.
Once patrons download the App from the App store, they will immediately have access to the Palace Project collection - a collection of both classics and modern materials available to anyone, even without a library card. By then selecting the Granby Public Library, patrons can login with their library card number and PIN, gaining access to Granby's Overdrive collection, our Consortium Overdrive collection, the State of Connecticut's eGO collection, and DPLA Open Libraries - all in a single App. Once signed in, patrons are able to check out books and audiobooks in just a few clicks. (Please note: Hoopla titles are not accessible via the Place Project App.)
The Palace Project is a unique non-profit e-reader app that was designed for libraries to share, providing one single interface to search multiple e-book collections. Palace supports the mission of libraries by providing equitable access to digital knowledge, bolstering the relationship between libraries and patrons, and protecting patron privacy.
