Granby announces retirement of Police Chief Carl Rosensweig
Good afternoon,
Granby announces the retirement of Police Chief Carl Rosensweig after more than 30 years in law enforcement. Rosensweig was the Chief in Granby for 12 years, and previously worked for West Hartford PD. Under Rosensweig’s direction, Granby PD was nationally recognized and accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). Granby was accredited in May 2019 and was recognized for excellence in law enforcement agency management and service delivery.
Granby is thankful for Chief Rosensweig's hard work and dedicated service throughout the years, and we wish him the best in his retirement.
