Granby Library Association

The Granby Library Association seeks to use accumulated funds as well as donations, gifts, and bequests to support the non-budgeted needs of Granby's Library Services.

Some examples of past projects are:

  • Author programs and book signings
  • Provided funds to improve workroom space/desks for library staff
  • Support for children's programs
  • Magnets with library hours for new borrowers
  • ADA-compliant children's circulation desk
  • New movable shelving and chairs
  • Installation of a historical plaque at the Visiting Nurse Association building to acknowledge the library's history there
  • Additions to large print book collections

Donations are invited to augment revenue available for immediate needs or to expand the investment base. The Granby Library Association is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that has recently celebrated its 150th anniversary. Donations to the GLA are tax-deductible contributions.
